Identification and ancestry
Our puppies come with a pedigree and a registered microchip. These serve different purposes: the pedigree records ancestry and the microchip identifies the dog.
During the process, you can ask about these documents and the information provided with your puppy. We want you to understand what you are receiving and to discuss any questions with us before handover.
Veterinary information
Handover includes the veterinary record, vaccinations appropriate to the puppy’s age and deworming. The details must be reviewed for each dog; “age-appropriate vaccinations” does not mean that all puppies have already completed the same schedule.
Discuss the next steps in your puppy’s care with the vet who will look after them, and bring their documents. If you have questions about the information we provide, discuss them with us too.
A contract explained before you decide
We formalise handover with a contract. The specific terms are explained directly to the family: this page summarises the documents and does not replace the terms in your puppy’s contract.
Ask us to clarify anything you do not understand. The price, reservation and handover arrangements should be clear before you make a commitment.
Support when your puppy comes home
We follow our puppies’ progress and support families with training. Arriving at a new home begins a different stage, and we remain a contact you can turn to for conversations about settling in. Healthcare is your vet’s responsibility.
