Planning before breeding
We consider each litter in terms of health, breed characteristics and temperament. We do not go ahead until we are clear about the plan. That thought beforehand is an essential part of our work as breeders.
When we talk with a family, we also want to understand what life together will look like in the long term. Choosing a puppy deserves the same attention we devote to planning their birth.
Professional care and a personal connection
Fire Dreams holds zoological establishment registration in Spain. We breed at home and work directly with families. We are Esther and Lisard: you can ask how we work, get to know our dogs and discuss everyday life with a German Pinscher.
Esther is a dog-show judge. Her experience in the dog world shapes our understanding of the breed, alongside living with our dogs and following their development.
Protecting the litter determines visits
Having a litter at home also means managing contact with the outside world carefully. Visits may be limited to reduce the risk of introducing infections. We arrange them in advance and explain what is possible at each stage.
Photographs, videos and calls allow us to stay in close contact while protecting the puppies.
A relationship that keeps growing
We stay in touch with families after handover and support them with their dog’s training. Seeing how each puppy develops keeps our connection with those who are already part of Fire Dreams alive.
Questions and answers
What do you mean by professional breeding at home?
It means we carry out our breeding programme as a professional activity, with zoological establishment registration, and that our dogs and litters are part of our home environment.
What can I ask about health before deciding?
You can ask us to explain the information about the parents and litter, as well as the puppy’s documents. We will answer you personally with specific information.
